Our Latest Van Trip<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

War has broken out in the Middle East, fuel prices are going skywards, and with everything else, who knows what’s going to happen next? But guess what…? We are off to the south of Spain to get some sunshine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winter 2025\/2026<\/strong><\/a>: Keen to get away from the long, cold British winter, come with us to South East Asia for 3 months. See us in Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand, ending with an unexpected stop in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer 2025<\/a><\/strong>:<\/strong><\/a> <\/span>What a wonderful trip despite an illness and a broken mirror. Join us on our short Scandinavian trip. “The Scandie Loop<\/em><\/strong>“, which to date is our longest trip in Jess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winter 2024\/2025<\/a><\/strong>:<\/strong><\/a> <\/span>One of our longest trips yet, 7 weeks. The UK winters are so depressing, even with the rain in Spain, this was one of our most enjoyable trips. Join us on our “Iberian Circular” Tour.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Autumn 2024<\/a><\/strong>: A quick three-week run to the Loire Valley in France<\/em><\/strong> to catch some summer sun wasn’t so sunny after all, but we still had a good time on Jess. We did a lot, saw a lot and ate a lot!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring 2024<\/a>:<\/strong> The 80th anniversary of the Normandy Landings.<\/em><\/strong> Wonderful and interesting sites with our 5th visit to the Bayeux tapestry. We are joined by a good friend from our home island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winter 2023 \/ 2024<\/a><\/strong> Jess gets a bit of a refit: new tyres and kit for the colder weather. We are off to the Christmas markets of Germany and Switzerland, finishing off with some winter sun in Spain.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer 2023<\/a>:<\/strong> Once more to the French Alps and the wonderful scenery, returning through the wine regions of France and sampling the beers of Belgium<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Autumn 2022<\/a>:<\/strong> Chasing the winter sun again. Straight to northern Spain via the Bay of Biscay. Del gets injured. Another new country on the list is Portugal<\/em><\/strong>, back through France and Mont St. Michel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring \/ Summer 2022<\/strong><\/a> Summer is here! Time for Hayley to hit the rollercoasters<\/em><\/strong> in Belgium and Germany. Some new countries. Austria, Czech Republic and Liechtenstein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winter 2021 \/ 2022<\/a><\/strong> Time to get away from the UK and get some Spanish winter sun for Christmas and New Year. While we are so far south, we look in on Gibraltar.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer 2020<\/a><\/strong> COVID-19 has struck and stopped all travel, but once the restrictions were lifted, we were off. This time we are heading for the French Alps, <\/em><\/strong>some scary cable cars and Mont Blanc, via the Somme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Autumn 2019: <\/a><\/strong> This autumn, we head out for some new countries: Switzerland and Italy. But first, we sample some Belgian beer and visit some huge, mechanical and crazy boat lifts.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring 2019<\/strong><\/a>:<\/strong><\/a> <\/span>Let’s take Jess to Spain to the Mediterranean. The wine regions of France and the flowers of Holland.<\/em><\/strong> We get our first furry visitors on Jess at a cider maker in France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer 2018<\/a><\/strong>: Our first trip of six weeks took us through the Champagne region<\/em><\/strong> of France, a toboggan run, and a concert in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
